    • Shave or wax: Do this at least 24 hours before your spray tan to avoid skin irritation and ensure even application.

    Day of Your Spray Tan:

    • Shower at least 3–4 hours before (or as instructed by your salon). Make sure your skin is clean and dry before your appointment.

    • Do not apply: lotion, deodorant, perfume, oils, or makeup. These can create a barrier and cause uneven tanning.

    • Wear loose, dark clothing: Tight clothes and bras can rub off the tan. Choose something comfortable that won’t cling to your skin.

    • Bring sandals or flip-flops: Avoid socks or closed shoes immediately after the tan.
